How to Borrow Items from Neighbours
Why buy high-cost gear you only need for a weekend? Follow this step-by-step guide to borrow tools, appliances, and party equipment safely from neighbours.
Browse items available in your community
Visit the Borrow Marketplace to search by category (Tools, Electronics, Cleaning, Kitchen, Party & Events). Check the item condition, photos, replacement valuation, and daily rental rate.
Submit a request with your required dates
Choose your start and return dates. Add a clear, polite message explaining what you are working on. The owner will review your request and accept if the item is available.
Agree on common-area pickup details
Once accepted, pickup instructions appear securely in your private transaction screen. Meet the owner in a designated common area (such as the lobby or clubhouse desk) and take a moment to test the item together.
Use with care and return promptly
Treat borrowed gear as if it were your own. Clean off any dust or debris, pack all accessories neatly, and return the item on or before the agreed return time.
